Advocacy & Policy

  • Current Advocacy Efforts: Currently COSMAG engages all stakeholders on all issues bordering on the welfare of the manufacturer. We were involved with the development of curriculum for training cosmetics manufacturers manual which was undertaken by the FDA. We have been involved annually in deliberations on changes in sector by a regular meeting with the official regulatory body in Ghana.

We have advocated against undue hikes in cosmetics ingredients prices which we believe are sometimes unwarranted.
